Hakuba Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area

Tsugaike Kogen is a 15 minute drive or so from Hakuba station. Located in Otari, Tsugaike is big and open and favorite place for beginning ski and snowboarders to take lessons and improve their skills. Tsugaike is also a popular place for backcountry tours because of the easy access from the top lifts of Tsugaike to the top peaks and ridges of the Alps.
